Imagine gazing out your office window and being greeted by the stunning Mystic River and the iconic Mystic Generating Station. That’s exactly what I experienced, and I couldn’t resist capturing the magic with my iPhone from the break room window. Each day brought a new spectacle—whether it was a train chugging along, a boat gliding across the water, an LPG ship making its delivery, or a plane soaring from Logan Airport.
The ever-changing light and the vibrant hues cast by drifting clouds painted a new masterpiece every day. On chilly days, the slow, bright white plume of flue gas from the smokestacks added a touch of wonder. And let’s not forget the mesmerizing dance of flickering waves, as the shifting light wove its spell on the river below. It was a year of visual delight, and I was lucky enough to witness it all!
